Early 1800’s, Italian Jars

Fabulous pair of rare, hand made, hand-painted, Faience glazed, lidded jars with sculptural, foliate form arms rising to lids capped by flame-form finials. Each with scenes featuring castles on one side, and gods and goddesses at revelry in the forest, on the other. From the Albissola commune of the  Savona Province in Liguria, Northwest Italy.
