A rare and exceptional Tuscan, ebonized 4 drawer commode inlaid with gilded bronze and mother of pearl. Decorated with a motif of flowers, birds and dogs at play. Original hand chased elaborate gilt bronze handles and locks with center shields. The round clawed feet have a center dot of mother of pearl. Original key. Made for a Venetian family.
