Two, hand-painted, republic period, parcel-gilt, Chinese, Zun-form vases made for the U.K. market. Both pieces feature a central medallion containing a warrior on horseback. Each medallion is flanked by a lion, a griffin, and is surmounted by a triumphant figure atop a shield, waving a laurel branch and surrounded by series of flags.
