Exceptional, circa 1800, two-drawer, elaborately veneered and inlaid, partially ebonized, burl, fruitwood, and pearwood, clipped corner commode from Genoa, Italy. The whole on tapered legs and surmounted by an inset, original, marble top. The front drawers and sides embellished by remarkable, faux panels and cameos with a fan-form detail.
