Hand carved, veneered, inlaid and ebonized, four drawer, serpentine front commode with clipped corners bolstered by turned pilasters capped with Corinthian capitals. The whole in Burl veneer with foliate style, pear-wood inlay. Original, gilt bronze drawer pulls on bottom 3 drawers. Replacement antique bronze knobs on top drawer. Private collection, Genoa, Italy.
