Glorious, hand-carved, gessoed and champagne gilded console with a deep relief, serpentine apron of molded rocaille and foliate forms centered on a shell capped by blossoms. The base features unique, scooped upper legs that then bow forward before terminating in foliate feet. The whole surmounted by it's original, serpentine, polished, Portoro marble top.
