This handsome 1840s Baltic wall mirror features a richly hand-carved wood frame adorned with deep cobalt blue glass panels and embellished with molded gilt-wood, showcasing the region’s distinctive blend of Neoclassical refinement and decorative opulence. The bonnet-style crest is crowned with a pierced foliate finial, flanked by left- and right-facing faux brackets, each set with floral relief medallions for added sculptural depth.

The mirror with some age-related loss of silver to plait and occlusion with time, enhancing its historical presence. A striking and rare example of Baltic 19th-century craftsmanship. t
