Signed, 1970’s, color etching by 20th c. Russian-born artist, Sonia Delaunay (1855-1979). She was the co-creator of “Orphism”, a technique that focused on color and geometry, and a founding member of the Abstraction Creation Group, which included legendary artists Jean Arp, Piet Mondrian, and Wassily Kandisnky. She became the first woman ever to be exhibited at the Louvre during her lifetime when the museum mounted an exhibition of her works in 1964.
