Il Cavalino- a dramatic, patinated, signed cast bronze stallion by M.F.A. educated, listed American artist, Barbara Beretich (1936-2018). A lifelong friend of important French artist, Francoise Gilot (b. 1921) since they met in in Paris in 1960, Beretich grew her artistic circle in Europe and back in the United States, where she curated over 100 exhibitions. At various intervals, 1987, 1991, 1997  Beretich was a set designer for the USIS (United States Information Service) in Cochin and Madras, India, and also served a stint at the Mourlot Lithography Workshop in Paris, France. in 1993.
