A refined interpretation of classical antiquity, this solid polished bronze side table is conceived in the Athenian or “athénienne” form, inspired by ancient Greek tripod and pedestal furniture celebrated during the Neoclassical revival. The legs represent Cerberus, the mythological hound with claw feet.  This elegant structure reflects the restrained harmony and architectural balance associated with classical Greek design, where small tables were conceived as sculptural yet functional objects within domestic interiors.

Cast entirely in bronze and finished with a luminous polish, the table possesses both visual lightness and substantial presence. Its classical silhouette evokes archaeological prototypes rediscovered and reinterpreted by European designers from the 18th century onward, here rendered as a sophisticated 20th-century homage to antiquity.
